“Two Dozen Roses” Returns to Spotlight After Shenandoah’s FOX & Friends Appearance

Country music icons Shenandoah made a triumphant appearance on national television this weekend, performing their chart-topping classic “Two Dozen Roses” live on FOX & Friends. The performance marked a special moment for both the band and fans across the country as the beloved hit found new life, climbing back into the Top 25 on the iTunes Country Chart following the segment.
Originally slated to perform the previous Monday, Shenandoah’s appearance was delayed due to the severe flooding in Texas. Founding members Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire expressed gratitude for the rescheduled opportunity and used their platform to send well wishes to those impacted by the natural disaster.
“We want to thank Emily Compagno and all of our friends at Fox for making this wonderful appearance possible,” said Raybon. “Fandango! Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Texas who were affected by the terrible floods. God Bless Texas!”
FOX host and longtime Shenandoah fan Emily Compagno played a key role in making the performance happen. Earlier in the week, Compagno shared a light-hearted moment on The Five, thanking the band for a surprise delivery of — appropriately — two dozen roses.
Shenandoah, who first formed in Muscle Shoals, Alabama in 1985, has remained a staple in American country music with a string of enduring hits. Their GRAMMY® Award-winning collaboration with Alison Krauss, “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart,” and fan favorites like “Next to You, Next to Me” and “Sunday in the South” have cemented their place in country music history.
The band is currently on the road with their Extra Mile Tour 2025, bringing their timeless sound to audiences across the U.S. Fans can check shenandoahband.com for tour dates and more.
