The Think American Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created with a clear purpose: to restore the American Dream by empowering and training the next generation of journalists while strengthening civic understanding and public trust.

At its core, the Foundation exists to help restore trust—trust in information, trust in institutions, and trust in one another. We believe a healthy republic depends on an informed public, thoughtful dialogue, and a shared commitment to facts, fairness, and responsible storytelling.

Our mission is carried out through comprehensive education and training initiatives that support aspiring journalists and civic-minded communicators. Through hands-on mentorship, real-world experience, and sustained support, we equip emerging reporters with the skills and resources they need to succeed, including competitive salaries and benefits. We emphasize accuracy, context, and clarity—without ideological litmus tests or political pressure.

In addition to training future journalists, the Think American Foundation is committed to uncovering and amplifying positive, often overlooked stories that highlight individuals and communities driving meaningful change in their cities, states, and beyond. We believe these stories matter—not just because they inform, but because they encourage accountability, foster understanding, and inspire civic participation.
