Alonso Trainer

Alonso Trainer has spent more than two decades in the classroom, teaching English to high school students in both rural and suburban settings. With nearly thirty years of coaching experience in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he brings the same discipline and heart to the mat as he does to his lessons. Beyond teaching, Alonso has served on curriculum teams, mentored young educators and coaches, and advised student clubs and community programs. He also leads youth ministry at his church, a role that reflects his deep commitment to guiding the next generation. For Alonso, teaching isn’t just a profession — it’s part of who he is. His writing explores the challenges facing today’s educators, offering insight, encouragement, and a rallying cry for those in the trenches of high school classrooms and athletic arenas. His goal is to spark conversations that uplift teachers and coaches while inspiring communities to engage in their success — and in the futures of the young people they serve.
