British Ambassador Urges Zelensky to Back Trump’s Peace Initiative

British Ambassador to the U.S. Lord Peter Mandelson called for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to fully support former President Donald Trump’s proposed peace initiative, describing it as “the only show in town” for ending the war. Speaking on ABC’s This Week, Mandelson suggested Ukraine should take the lead in committing to a ceasefire and challenge Russia to follow suit. He also emphasized the role of European nations in ensuring long-term security for Ukraine.
