MSNBC Mocked for Echo Chamber Coverage as Ratings Tank

MSNBC is facing criticism from The Washington Post’s media columnist Erik Wemple, who slammed the network for offering little to no on-air debate and dubbed its unofficial motto, “I could not agree more.” After watching 18 hours of programming, Wemple found just one segment that qualified as a genuine debate—an exception, not the rule, he said. He argued the network favors anti-Trump consensus over ideological diversity, with even its Republican contributors largely critical of the former president. The critique comes as Jen Psaki’s new show struggles with ratings, shedding over half its key demo viewers after just two episodes.
