Wyoming Legislature Completes 2025 General Session, Passes 178 Bills

The Wyoming Legislature concluded its 37-day 2025 General Session on Thursday, with lawmakers passing 178 of the 556 bills and resolutions introduced. Of the 209 bills introduced in the Senate, 99 were approved by both the House and Senate. The House introduced 252 bills, 79 of which passed through both chambers.
Committee-sponsored bills had a 47% passage rate, while individually sponsored bills passed at a 27% rate. Legislation that passed both houses is either awaiting action from Governor Mark Gordon or already signed into law.
The Legislature’s Management Council will meet on April 8 to assign topics for interim committees, with the first round of committee meetings scheduled for late April. The 2026 Budget Session is set to begin on February 9, 2026.
