Burns, Carr, Kemp Back Strong U.S. Response in Middle East

Three of Georgia’s top Republican officials voiced firm support Saturday night following decisive U.S. action in the Middle East, signaling unwavering solidarity with Israel and praise for American strength on the world stage.
Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns commended President Biden for a forceful response to escalating tensions in the region.
“Tonight, @POTUS sent the world a clear message—the United States will never waver in our commitment to supporting Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East. This is what peace through strength looks like. Thank you, Mr. President. 🇺🇸🇮🇱” Burns posted on X.
Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr also voiced strong support, praising the firm U.S. stance and referencing former President Donald Trump’s approach to foreign threats.
“I support President Trump’s decisive action that sends a clear message: we stand with Israel, we will not tolerate threats to our national security, and aggression will be met swiftly and decisively,” Carr posted on social media.
Governor Brian Kemp also weighed in, warning about the threat posed by Iran and thanking those involved in the successful operation.
“America can never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon,” Kemp tweeted. “Thank you to President Trump, our service members and intelligence personnel, and administration officials who conducted this successful operation. 🇺🇸”
Though their messages referenced both current and past presidential administrations, all three leaders delivered a unified theme: strength and clarity from the United States are essential to global stability, national security, and continued support for Israel—America’s closest ally in the region.
Following reports that the United States carried out precision strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, Georgia leaders spoke out, reaffirming that their commitment to “peace through strength” endures even as national debate intensifies over escalating U.S. involvement in the Middle East.
