In the midst of a brutal Kansas winter storm, two linemen turned heroes when they discovered a mother bobcat and her kitten frozen to the top of a power pole. Braving wind chills of -5°F, Dominic Urban and Eric Hartwell took on the delicate two-hour rescue, carefully freeing the bobcats from the icy grip without harm. Their compassion reminds us that even amidst personal challenges, looking out for our wild neighbors can make all the difference. The power was restored, and so was a little bit of faith in humanity.
