A New Jersey model train club was facing an uncertain future—until Impractical Jokers star James “Murr” Murray and his wife Melyssa stepped in. After reading about the Pacific Southern Railway’s potential shutdown, the couple bought the Rocky Hill home where the club’s sprawling basement railroad has operated for 60 years. Rather than clearing the tracks, the Murrays are embracing the tradition—renovating the space, launching a new website, and creating a retro-themed lounge to attract new members, including Murr’s fans. Their goal? Preserve the magic of miniature railroading and keep the trains running for generations to come.
