A whistleblower from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has revealed concerns over the agency’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives during the Biden administration. Mark Moyar, a former USAID employee, criticized the promotion of DEI as a “mission” within the agency, claiming it fueled divisiveness and wasted taxpayer money on programs deemed ineffective. Moyar argues that the push for DEI not only disrupted internal operations but also tarnished the U.S.’s international reputation. As discussions about government waste and accountability heat up, USAID faces increased scrutiny and calls for reform.
